The intellectual life of the College is overseen by the Academic Committee, which has 18 to 22 members, including staff, governors and College Members.

The Academic Committee is responsible for the organisation and facilitation of the great variety of College events, talks, seminars and the major international Goodenough Conference series.

The aim of these events is to enable members to discuss issues of global importance and to broaden their horizons by attending events not related to their own subject of study.

These events take place on a regular basis and are free to attend.
